I personally love it, what do you think about it?|||I absolutely loved it! I haven't read anything that good for so long.
Gemma is a great heroine, very strong, but with flaws. Ann really annoyed me at times; I couldn't stand how she wouldn't stand up for herself. Pippa and Felicity were not my favorite characters, but I did like how Libba Bray made them almost like real girls.
Kartik was a great character. I do wish Bray mentioned him more often.
AGATB was a wonderful book, full of twists. I think the sequels are just as good, if not, better.
~Eryn|||I liked the series, though I didn't finish the last book. The second one was my favorite. I thought the first one was really, didn't really like that it was in present tense as it confused me and made me write in present tense when I came to work on my story, I also didn't like how gullible Gemma was. She let Felicity and Pip push her around a lot. I didn't like Felicity in the first book, because she was a drama queen who couldn't handle anyone doing anything better than her; she wanted the attention all to herself and she coerced--or guilted--Gemma into taking them to the realms a lot. Gemma was a poor leader, I felt. Kartik was such a great character, the very few times he was in the book. Overall, despite how I'm complaining, I don't get why this series isn't as popular as Twilight, Harry Potter or the Eldest series (I admit I don't know what they're really called).
|||I loved it. My favorite was the third book, although some parts did drag.
These were extremely real girls. I'm glad Bray did not make Felicity and Pippa the stereotypical cliquish girls. I'm glad I was able to like them by the end of booki one. I'm also glad we really got to know why these girls were they way they are in books two and three.
Ann was annoying sometimes. She let people push her around way too much. I was also a little disappointed with the direction Bray had Ann going in. I know during her time it may not have been possible for her to marry, but I was hoping she was going to spark some sort of romance with someone. But Bray is a realistic. She isn't going to sugarcoat even her characters.
I also think the way Bray described things was wonderful. She didn't do too much yet she did just enough.
This trilogy will probably be my favorite trilogy for a while. It might be years before someone tops her books in my book!
Gemma is a great role model because she's a strong woman, and you'll especially see this in the third book. Let's just say that a lot of people asked, "How can she go on?"|||eh, it was okay
ya, i didn't like the present tense thing
and i found all of the characters to be really annoying all the time
and also when they go to the realms, it's a bit overly fanatical, i know it's supposed to be, but it takes away from any possible reality there couldn't been in the story i think
but somehow, it's sill decent|||I love it too. :) She's a great author.
