It would have been nice if that tree didn't suddently become a man-eater, though. xD Libba Bray never fails to satisfy me.|||I was also upset when I read it. I loved Kartik. But every good back needs some tragedy. Gemma saved the realms, so technically, it is a happy ending. Not happy-happy-joy-joy, but quite frankly, I don't trust books with endings like that. Personally, I like it the way it was--half happy, half sad.
