i'm wondering if i should buy 'a great and terrible beauty' by libba bray. is it a good book to read/buy? btw the books i like are like twilight and a million little pieces and gossip girl.|||i think its an ok book. ive read the whole series and i'll say it was one of the more interesting books i have read, but the last book really disappointed me. ALOT. i dont want to spoil anything for anyone, so i wont reveal why exactly i didnt like it. its got a really good plot and everything and the idea is good...but its not the most interesting adventurous book i've ever read. sometimes it seems to be slow and boring. and very stupidly repetitive the book is good-- but i think you shouldn't buy it. take it out from the library to see if you like it first. because if you bought it and hated it then you are stuck with it. which would suck. so go rent it and then see if you wanna buy.|||If you like twilight you will love this book!|||It is a really good series. I would recommend it. I'm actually reading the third one right now. I didn't tink that the book would be all that good, but surprisingly I loved it. If you love twilight you would definitely love this book.|||yeah.i really enjoyed them- one of the many books i read to distract me from twilight. lol.... but to warn you, the first book is really boring for about the first third of it. *and, the main character is 16, but (to me at least) she seems a bit immature. i think it might just be because of the society and environment she grew up in though. it is an excellent historical fiction too. it was reallly interesting and cool to find out how life was in the victorian ages. they are really good. the author completely surprises you with how things turn out. you dont expect what is coming next. it keeps you up all night because you have to find out what happens. oh gosh, they are also kinda creepy- especially when reading them when its past midnight!!! but, another thing to warn you of (this is about the ending of the last book. im not going to say what happens though.): the end of the last book was really sad! it was written very well, but so depressing- at least for me. if you only like books with happy endings, this will make you really sad. there was also another part of the last book that dissatisfied me, but overall the book was great. * it also scared the crap out of me|||Yes it's an awesome book you should definately read it!!!|||its an awesome book, really. i love it and so do my friends. in fact, i just got the third book today. so far its great.|||Yes, it was wonderful. I just picked it up at the bookstore by impulse and I ended up loving it. So much better than the Twilight series crap.
