bray and scarff: Is it a good book? worth reading?|||Well, first off, it is the first book to a trilogy, and all three are really popular among lovers of Gothic historical novels. If you like books that are set in Victorian England, this book is great. The characters are described thoroughly, and the back drop is fitting. The story can get quite fanciful, but the impact it makes by the end of the book is thoughtful. It's definitely a captivating read in that it's exciting and interesting. However, over all I would give it probably a B+ because at points the plot often wavers and some of the magical components aren't fully described.|||yes, I quite enjoyed it. You have to read the first few chapters to really get into to it but after you get pass about chapter 5 it starts to get good. Hope you read and enjoy it.|||i loved it deffinately should but yeah the beggining is a little slow then it gets better|||I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. I only borrowed it because I liked the cover too.
