Yeah yeah, they have a good record but it is not even the half way point of the year.|||Pardon me, sir... have you seen my broom?|||hahahaha wind blowing only when we hit! That's the best excuse I've ever heard!

|||I am in a split fan household(dad's a cubs fan and i'm a sox fan, mom just goes with who shes watching) and i want the cubs to win a world series so i can stop hearing all this crying about the curse and my dad saying "what you ain't doin nothing this year, cubs all the way". The cubs will have a one year wonder with there aging team then they will have some other curse. I predict the "Alfanso Soriano Injury curse" where all there stars will get injured when they are doing good in a season.|||Let them have their moment, it'll be gone soon. (Most likely in tragic fashion)|||I'm a Brewers fan, and I'm tired of it.

Their schedule is INCREDIBLY easy, and we haven't even reached the All-Star break.

No, no, the Brewers will be the ones taking the division.|||no its funny to me
let them say what they want
this is what they have fun with

I don't think anyone has bragging rights unless they've won or been to a World Series within the last 10 years....|||No Cubs fans think they are going to win every year. It's early in the season. Soon they will say we'll get them next year|||It's just another build up to another broken heart for the Cub fans. It must be bad if Red Sox fans are getting annoyed with Cub fans.

There bullpen will be the downfall. They are using it too much. You need a strong pen in the playoffs. Marmol is showing signs of a breakdown, and Kerry Wood is a pitch away from the DL.
Cub fans enjoy the ride.|||Looking at what has played out thus far in the season, just about everybody outside of the windy city -and half of the people in it- feel at least slightly overwhelmed by the gloating and premature celebration of Cub Nation. Although one should congratulate this organization on their above average begining of the season, it is very important to watch how the rest of the year plays out. Watch for Philadelphia, St. Louis, and Milwaukee to make a run for the pennant.

In short, stay tuned for autumn baseball.|||No, actually I love it. The White Sox are in first, too, and they DID win the series in naught-five. When the Cubs start to slump it tickles me to hear them whine instead of bray. I get to stick in a few 'hey, Sox are still all right's and then they become enraged like bulls. It's so much fun!|||I say let them have their fun now cause most baseball fans & Cubs fans knows what happens when season ends, they lose in play offs or don't make it there & then we hear, well, there's always next year.|||They're doing good right now, so what, let the fans be happy.
