I read the book, but is Gemma Doyle now immortal or...? She had died but asked to be replaced by another woman, and went back to life. Is Gemma immortal or...?????|||No, Gemma is NOT immortal. *****SPOILERS****** Gemma died at the battle, met the three women in the boat, and they offered to take her to rest and give her eternal glory on that wall that you see earlier in the series. She feels that she has more to do alive, but when a sorceress does that they're granted a wish or favor of sorts. She requests that they take Circe (Miss Moore) across the river, as she lives in the Well of Eternity for, well, Eternity (Haha... That's funny). Gemma passes eternal rest and glory, and goes back to the battle. She's just like every other human except that she's got magic...|||yeah it looked like she was about to die. she's not immortal. then she told the three ladies she wants to give up her place to Circe or Miss moore. then after that gemma returned to the battle and got the magic back. now she guides the soul of people who die. it was a little confusing.
