That's exactly how i felt after reading the Twilight saga. I don't think that there's any book in that genre as great as Twilight was but the books i listed come really close. Soon as you read them, they will ease you out of your Twilight faze and you will begin to think other books are just as good. I hope this helps :)|||Water for Elaphants by Sara Gruen is Excellent!|||I read another vampire book by Cristina de la Cruz called Blue Bloods. it was an easy read and i find that if you liked twilight the you would probably like this book. it also has a sequel called Masquerade|||Anne RIces books(the real vampires)
Nancy Holder
Stephen King(has a few vampire books)|||Omg i read all stephenie meyer books too
and now i can't find something as satisfying.|||Try Bram Stoker's Dracula - love, vampires, death, life, adventure, etc.
Try Melissa Marr's Wicked Lovely and Ink Exchange -- Fairy kingdoms, good, evil, teens.
Try The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield -- modern day Gothic novel about the life of a novelist, as told to her biographer. Descriptions galore.
Try Jane Austen's Northanger Abbey -- Austen makes fun of the Gothic genre with her novel about the innocent Catherine Moreland
Try Jane Austen's Persuasion -- Austen's best novel about love and trusting one's own judgment.
Try Practical Magic by Alice Hoffman -- blends wicca magic with everyday household magic of living. Good, realistic characters and dialogue.
