Like near the end of the book, at Felcity's Christmas Ball her Father promises to come and sprinkle fairy dust on Polly at night. Then Felicity puts Polly to bed and says " Make sure to lock your door before you go to bed." I didnt really understand what her Father was doing. Can someone please tell me???|||Spoiler
Her dad molested her when she was younger, and Fel is worried that he will do the same to polly
