My boyfriend and I are visiting his sister and her family, who are based in Bray, in Ireland. I was hoping to see some nice castles while we're there. We have three weeks to just tour around. What are some day trips we can do while we're there in Bray? Thanks a lot!|||Google Glendalough - it's beautiful, you could spend the day there, it's not far from Bray at all. You could also visit Trim Castle in Co Meath, it's a bit of a drive, but you could stop in Maynooth and visit Maynooth Castle (very small, but hugely historical). Also Trim castle was the setting for some of the movie Braveheart, so if that sparks your interest it would be worth the drive.
If you are going to Trim Castle in Co. Meath, go early and you might get to see Newgrange as well. It's older than the Pyramids.
Google them all, there's loads to see! Enjoy!|||http://www.roughguides.com/website/shop/鈥?/a>|||You could get the Dart from Bray station to Malahide and go see Malahide Castle.
