I've read the Gemma Doyle series by Libba Bray, and that was REALLY good.
In terms of fantasy, I've read things like The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Claire, The Darkest Powers by Kelley Armstrong, virtually everything by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes, Ballad by Maggie Steifvater (which is about faeries, if you didn't know), and a plethora of other fantastical novels.
